How to change early access to paystubs

I run payroll on Tuesdays with a pay date and direct deposit for that Friday. Currently, employees can see their paystubs immediately on Tuesday and I want to change that to making the paystub accessible on Friday which is the actual pay date. How do I change this setting in QBO?

I understand the importance of modifying your employee's access to their paystubs, BJ2024. 

 

The functionality to modify your employees' paystub access is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The system automatically notifies employees of their paystubs once payroll is processed. However, we would love to hear your suggestions about having this option and recommend submitting product suggestions. This way, we can enhance your experience with the program, and it will be shared with our Product Development team.    

 

Here's how:  

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit.

Moreover, if you need to pay certain employees' overtime, you can set up an overtime pay item to reimburse them for their extra hours. Also, you can give them a bonus pay item to recognize their accomplishments and motivate them.
