Let me help you clear upcoming tax payments, mccarthycc.
In QuickBooks Online, you need to manually record tax payments made from your agency's website. You can follow the steps below to zero out your sales tax payable.
Go to Taxes.
Find the return you just filed, then select View return.
If you paid for an older return, select a month from the Due Date Start and Due Date End ▼ dropdown menus. Then select Refresh.
Select a filing method, then select Record payment.
Add these payment details:
Tax amount
Payment date
Bank account
Select Record payment.
Click Back to sales tax center.
If you need a detailed look at what you owe, run the sales tax liability report for the same tax period. This is helpful if you want to review your taxable and nontaxable invoices, receipts, and other transactions.
Stan in touch with me if there's anything else you need about your tax payments. I'm always right here to guide you through the process.
This didn't seem to work for me as I didn't have the options you suggested I should select. But when I just went to check on it, it's gone from my to do list. I have no idea what just happened...but thank you.
