How to file form 941 on quickbooks online

I'd like to share an idea about filing Form 941 in QuickBooks Online.

Filing your Federal Form 941 is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online(QBO).  We're still waiting for the finalized form from the IRS to ensure the accuracy of the information. We assure you that it will be available soon and we'll send updates once the form is ready in QBO. 

As of now, I recommend manually filling Form 941 on the IRS website. Before doing so, you can run and print the two payroll reports to serve as your reference. 

1. Go to the Taxes on the left panel and select Payroll Tax.

2. Click the Quarterly Forms under the Forms section.

3. Select the 941 forms then select a period.

5. Click on View.

6. On the PDF page, click the print icon.

Once done, you can enter the details according to their line in the forms and manually file them to the IRS through this article: IRS Site.
