Hi there, @mghinckle-sofacr. I can help you with your 2018 940 tax form.

A form won't display on the archived when there was no archive created in the past filing/s. In this case, you may prepare the form again and print it from here.

Here's how:

  1. Click on Taxes at the left pane.
  2. Select Payroll Tax.
  3. Under Forms, tap on Annual Forms.
  4. Choose 940, then set 2019 as a year.
  5. View or Print the form from there.

I'm adding this link for more tips about the process: Access payroll tax forms and tax payments.

Alternatively, you may reach out to the IRS and request a copy of the form. Or, connect with our Suppor Team for further assistance.

To contact support:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still choose to Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us.
  4. Choose a way to connect with support.

If you're ready to pay and file your recent payroll taxes or forms, use this link as your reference: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms in Online Payroll.
