How to get direct deposit

Let's set up your company payroll for direct deposit so you can pay and manage your employees' direct deposit transactions in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP).

After completing your payroll setup tasks, like adding employees and filling in tax info, you'll have to connect your company's payroll bank account to get or use direct deposit. Here's how:

1. Go to Payroll.
2. Select Let's go next to Connect your bank.
3. Click Let's get started.
4. Review and add some information for your Business, Principal officer, and Bank account.
5. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Then, verify your bank account (if you connected manually).
