How to print w2 2021

Printing W-2 forms in QuickBooks is just a breeze, @mike-imagestaffi. I’m here to show you all the ways to do it.

Printing previous years' W-2 depends on how you pay and file your federal and state payroll taxes. If we handle we handle your taxes and forms, simply follow these steps below:

1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Select Taxes, then click Payroll Tax.
3. Click Filings, then go to Annual Forms.
4. Select 2021 in the period dropdown.  
5. From there, you can select:
   • W-2, Copies A & D (employer)
   • W-2, Copies B, C & 2 (employee)
6. Press View to open Adobe Reader in a new window, then select the Print icon on the Reader toolbar.
7. Click Print again.

On the other hand, if you paid and filed the form manually, you can refer to the instructions below to print it:

1. Select Taxes, then choose Payroll Tax.
2. Go to Filings, then select Archived Forms.
3. From the period dropdown, choose 2021.  
4. Select the W-2 copy you need.
5. Press View to open Adobe Reader in a new window.
6. Select the Print icon on the Reader toolbar. Then, select Print again.
