You post is appeared in US Community. If your company is located in UK, make sure you are using QB Online UK version, not US version.

I'm delighted to see you in the Community, valerie-bunova.

I'm here to help and point you in the right direction for setting up the Making Tax Digital (MTD) function.

In addition to @Fiat Lux – ASIA answer, you can only use one subscription for one company in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you have a US version and want to use it in another region, you must sign up for a separate account (UK) and then activate the MTD from there. Click here for more information on the various plans, pricing, and features for each online version.

You can take the test drive for QuickBooks Online (QBO) to learn more about the features available in the program. This allows you to explore or play around since it doesn’t save any changes you make.

When you're ready, I've included some links that will provide you with all the information you need about Making Tax Digital (MTD):

These resources include information on how to sign up for the feature, submit your VAT return, and a webinar to walk you through the process visually.

If you have any further questions about the MTD feature or other QuickBooks-related issues, leave a comment below. Please know that I am always available to assist you and ensure that you are well taken care of.

The UK site requires a UK business address to sign up for the MTD plan. Is there a way to sign up with a US business address?
