How to set up overtime to calculate on hours worked over 8 in 1 day instead of hours over 40 in a week

It's important to note that only account admins can perform this process. Additionally, only working hours count towards overtime. Once set up, this will be displayed on the QuickBooks Time (QBT) payroll report and various other report options.

Here's how to set up overtime tracking:

1. In QBT, go to Company Settings.
2. Select Payroll & Overtime, then click Overtime.
3. Make your selections.
4. For more advanced overtime options, you can click Use Pay Rate Engine at the bottom of that window to install the Pay Rate Engine.
