Welcome to the Community, @steve298. I'll share some insights about filing tax forms in QuickBooks Online.

Did you receive any error messages when attempting to file the DE9C form? Make sure the E-File and Pay functionality is enabled. If you don't already have it enabled, you'll need to do so to begin smoothly submitting your forms.

Also, remember that QBO updates its forms quarterly. As a result, we can only file electronically for the current quarter. You'll have to do it manually for older ones. You can access your DE9C form online, print it, and return it to the IRS.

Additionally, deleting your browser's cache can solve most general issues in QBO. By cleaning them, you can get rid of the old data and start again with QuickBooks.

To rule out the potential of a webpage issue, try accessing your account through an incognito window. To open an incognito window in any supported browser, use the following shortcut keys:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Clear your browser's cache if you can process it in an incognito window. You can also try a different supported browser to see if the issue is related to your current one.
