I am having some anxiety with the PA E-Tides switch to myPATH. How is QB handling this for PA State Taxes? Is QB creating a third party account?

James,

So if we have submits PA taxes thru quickbooks, it will proceed the same way even though PA changed the website that handles the payments?

Thanks

Hi there, mistymossy. Thanks for getting back to the thread.

James provided you with the correct information. Even though PA changed the website that handles payments, it will proceed in the same manner as long as you have the same account number from the old (PA e-tides) to the new (myPATH).

On the other hand, if you use a different account number, you need to contact your state agency for confirmation. You can add or change another payroll state account number in QuickBooks Online once it has been confirmed. Please contact us if you need assistance changing your state account number.

Learn how to set up a direct deposit and pay your employees in this article: Set up your company payroll for direct deposit. This will minimize the need to pay employees with paper checks.

Kindly inform us again if you have further questions about PA E-Tides and myPATH in QuickBooks Online. Just comment down below. We're available around the clock, mistymossy.
