I am having trouble adding lines to me weekly timesheet. I can add a single time activity that will add up, but just wondering if others having the same issue.

Welcome to the Community, oralliej-bsfcpas.

 

You can add lines to weekly timesheets by using your Add lines button while creating a timesheet.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Use the + New button, then go to Weekly timesheet.
  2. Enter any necessary information.
  3. To add more lines, click Add lines. You can also remove lines by using their Trash can icons.
  4. Select Save and close.

 

When adding hours to a line, you'll see them added up in the line's Total column. It will also show the total for each line added up in your Total Hours area.

 

 

You'll want to be aware that weekly timesheets are non-posting transactions. This means they won't display on reports like Profit & Loss until their contents have been added to a sale for an expense type transaction. Additionally, timesheets only allow a single hourly rate. If you need to enter multiple hourly rates, you can initiate a Payroll subscription.
