I am in the middle of payroll. Receiving a message "We are having trouble getting your next Payday". I need current payday

I'll make sure that you can successfully process payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
 

Please note that your employees will get paid based on when you submitted the direct deposit payroll, not on the pay date. These are the different funding times in QuickBooks Online Payroll:
 

  • Same-day: Workers are paid the same day you send your payroll to us.
  • Next-day: Workers are paid the next banking day after you send your payroll to us.
  • 2-day: Workers are paid two banking days after you send your payroll to us.
  • 5-day: Workers are paid five banking days after you send your payroll to us.

 

You'll want to review when you processed the payroll. Also, you'll want to advise your employee to wait until 5 PM local time to receive the payment. 

 

In addition, please check your employee's direct deposit bank account details. Another possible reason is that the bank account entered on his/her account is incorrect. Go to the Payroll menu, and select Employees. Click the employee's name and click Edit employee. From the How do you want to pay Employee? section, review the bank info.
 

Additionally, I encourage running payroll reports in QuickBooks. This helps you view useful information about your business and employees.
