I am on payroll core with everything being filed for me. Why can’t I locate my MI-1028 filing? I can locate all other second quarter filings

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details on how tax forms and payment works if Intuits file the form for you. Then, to ensure that you are routed to the correct person to assist you further in locating the MI-1028.

With QuickBooks Online Payroll Core, you have the option to access your filed tax forms and paid tax payments. With this, all forms are available to view or print approximately 35 days after the end of the quarter. Please know that amended forms are available once your case is complete.

To start locating the MI-1028, you'll have to go to the Taxes menu. From there, you can choose Archived forms and filings and make sure to select the correct form so you'll see the MI-1028.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Taxes menu and choose Payroll Tax.
2. Click the Filings tab.
3. View your tax forms under Upcoming Filings or select Archived forms and filings.
4. Select the form you want to view.
5. Choose the form you want to view.

If you're still unable to see the said form, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Core support. They have the tools to access your account, which is required in order to investigate why you can't find or the MI-1028 is missing.

Hi there, @harrisheating906. I'm here to share some details about viewing your form MI-1028 in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As my colleague mentioned, all the forms, including the MI-1028, will only be available to view or print 35 days after the end of the quarter. In case it's already passed 35 days, you're still unable to view the form. You can consider reaching out to our Customer Care Team to get a copy of it. To begin, here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Go to Help (?).
3. Select Contact Us.
4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
5. Choose a way to connect with us:

• Start a chat with a support expert.
• Get a callback from the next available expert.
