Question

I am setting up this account to get paid as a 1099 for direct deposit. Do I still have to pay to have an account with intuit?

Good day, and welcome to the Community forum, clapani62. Allow me to join you here and quickly answer your question if you need to pay for an Intuit account.

It looks like you received an email invite from your client to fill out your W9 and Direct Deposit information. If that's the case, I'd like to let you know that there's no charge for this type of account.

This would only let your client collect your tax and payment details and save them on file for Direct Deposit payments.

In addition, you can view your Form 199 right in your QBSE account after your client files it electronically through our system.

Check out this article for more information on how this feature works: Fill Out A W-9 And View Your 1099-MISC In QuickBooks Self-Employed.
