I am trying to add an employee. QuickBooks will not save the Personal Info that I enter. Is there a fix?

I'll make sure you'll be able to save the Personal Info when adding employee in QuickBooks Online( QBO). 

 

May I know what error message or prompt are you getting when trying to save employee in QBO? Any additional details will help me provide the right resolution.

 

In the meantime, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. You'll want to access your QBO account in a private browser or incognito.

 

Here are the shortcut keyboards:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

 

Once you're in, let's try to add new employee again. If you're able to save the the employee, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache and cookies to start over fresh. Alternatively, you can switch to other supported browsers.

Yep, I've been trying to save personal info for a new employee and it won't save the info.  I can save all the other information for the employee, just not the personal info.  There is no error message.  Hitting the Save button does nothing.  I called and talked to a support person, they had me do the incognito crap, didn't work.  I have tried using a different computer.  No luck.

HEY QUICBOOKS, YOU HAVE A SOFTWARE BUG!  IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!  I'm trying to do payroll and your program won't work!!!!!

    I understand how it feels when the system is not saving your work when you update your employee's info, @aftonace. 

     

    I've checked our records and found out that there's an ongoing investigation for updating employees' profiles.

     

    At this point, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team again and letting them know that you're one of the affected users of INV-80758. That way, they'll add your email to the list and receive updates about its status.
