I am trying to adjust 2021 transactions and the system will not allow me to get into the year 2021 to make corrections.

Did you get any error messages or code when making corrections in QuickBooks Online? If you are prompted about typing in a password, then you'll have to enter the password you created when closing the book.

However, if you wish to reach out to our Customer Care Team. You'll have the option to choose a callback and fill in a piece of information so an expert can call you back. Also, they have special tools like screen sharing so they can take a closer look at your issue. 

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Click Get help from a human or Contact Support Team.
  5. Select between Send a message, Schedule an appointment, or Get a callback.
