Question

I am trying to put in the two test deposit amounts for direct deposit. That option is not coming up. "We're getting your bank account ready" Where do i find this?

I am working on my first payroll and need to get direct deposit done.

Hi there, @dtjbgrrhoa. I've got your back, and I'll help you get through this so you proceed to check your account for test deposit and then verify them.

 

If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll and you already entered the test debits, know that there are two ways to check the deposits and then verify them. I'll input the steps below. To begin, here's how:

 

  1. Select Payroll, then Overview.
  2. From your To Do List, select Let's Go on Check your account for a small deposit, then verify.
  3. Select Verify your account.
  4. Enter and confirm the amount of the test transaction from your bank account.

 

If the there's no New payroll tasks button, here's another way to verify test transaction:

 

  1. Select Settings then Payroll Settings.
  2. Under Bank Accounts, select Company.
  3. Select Verify Account, then enter and confirm amount.
