I am trying to run a payroll and I keep getting kicked off. Why?

My payroll won't process. Is Quick Books doing something to cause this? If not what do I need to do to process payroll?

It's my priority to ensure that you can process payroll successfully in QuickBooks Online.

 

When you encounter unexpected behavior while working with QuickBooks, it'd be best to access your account in a private window. At times, stored cache files on your browser can be corrupted and may result in odd issues in the system.

 

Here's how you can access the private browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you're now able to run payroll, go back to your main browser and clear the cache. This will refresh the browser's settings and eliminates unnecessary data. Also, you can use other compatible browsers in QuickBooks Online.
