Question

I am using QBO Payroll and paying weekly taxes for payroll but why is there another charge for Quarterly Payroll? There is no explanation for this.

Let me help you check why you were charged with this amount, @rich28

 

You can go to the billing section to review how much you are charged for the payroll subscription.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on the Gear icon.
  3. Select Account and Settings, under Your Company column.
  4. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  5. Then hit on the Payroll section and check the charge.

 

Keep in mind that QuickBooks Online's automatic tax payment and filing feature varies depending on your payroll subscription. Local taxes aren't automated if you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll Core.

 

I'd also suggest contacting our Customer Service Team. They have secure access to your account and verify the charges. Also, they can closely examine the problem and conduct further troubleshooting to fix it.

 

Here are the steps:

 

  1. Navigate to the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, select the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
  3. Enter your queries and hit on Let's Talk.
  4. Choose either Start a chat or Call us.

 

If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and click the Contact a human button.
  3. Select Live Chat / Call me back.
