I can't get quickbooks support to resolve my issue after weeks of trying
I have tried, over the course of 3 weeks, to get QB support to assist me with a relatively straight forward payroll tax issue.
My company is based out of Florida. We used to have 1 employee in New York, so we had QB online payroll setup for both Florida and New York. However, for over a year, we've exclusively worked/been based out of Florida, and all employees are based in Florida. We requested for the NY-specific payroll options in QB to be removed over a year ago, and they are still in our system. Some forms are still being sent to NY from our company by QB payroll automatically.
Through online chat, email, and phone, I have reached out to QB support on multiple occasions. The first occasion [case number removed], they told me they got with the backend team who would have it resolved in 2 business days. They also said I would receive an email confirm. Neither of these things happened.
When I followed up a week later [case number removed], the specialist on the phone said they checked and it would be complete that day, and I would receive an email confirm. Again, neither thing happened.
Today, I followed up yet again [case number removed] via online chat support, and the specialist assured me they were working on it. After 40 minutes of telling me to 'hang tight', they simply disconnected. Again, no email follow up, no confirmations that anything is being fixed or worked on.
I'm at my wits end. I need help resolving this issue, as we are purely a Florida based company and should have no references whatsoever to the state of New York. Please help.
