I can't get the Time feature to start at all. I have Payroll Elite for QB Online.

  • QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets): This is a more advanced, standalone subscription service that offers comprehensive time tracking and management features.

 

Please note that your Payroll Elite package includes access to the basic payroll features within QuickBooks Online, including the built-in time tracking feature. However, it doesn't include the full QuickBooks Time subscription. If you're interested in the advanced features offered by QuickBooks Time, you would need to subscribe separately. If you prefer not to add another subscription, you can still effectively track time using the built-in feature in QuickBooks Online. Here's a quick guide on how to do this:

 

  1. Click on the New button in the top left corner of your QuickBooks Online dashboard.
  2. Under the Team section, you'll see two options: Single time activity or Weekly timesheet. Choose the one that best fits your needs.
  3. Enter the necessary details such as the employee name, date, customer/project, service, and duration.
  4. Once you've filled in all the information, click Save and close.
