I can't seem to make adjustments to payroll taxes due. Does anyone know how to do an adjustment to a payroll tax payment?

Let me get you on the right track on how to adjust a payroll tax payment.  

We always make sure our customers’ payroll records are correct, especially the taxes due. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we’re unable to change the tax payment directly.

However, our Payroll Support Team has the tools to perform the adjustment process. Thus, I recommend contacting them for further assistance.

Here’s how:

1. Click the Help icon at the top to open the QB Assistant window.
2. In the Assistant tab, type the issue or topic in the field box. For example, payroll adjustment
3. Click the Get help from a human link and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process.
4. From the support options, select Chat or Callback.

In QBO, we collated resources to help our customers perform any payroll tasks smoothly: Self-help articles. The topics include account management, building reports, taxes, and other payroll-related activities.
