I followed the instructions in the search result and it just brings me back to a search result. What do I do?

Helping you in uploading your tax notice in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is my priority, @Soo2.

First off, I'll be proving you with the complete steps in case you missed one:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and select Payroll tax.
  2. Select Resources.
  3. Click on Tax Notice.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to send our notice to us.

However, if you still weren't able to upload your tax notice after following the steps above, let's go ahead and check if this is something to do with your browser. To begin with, let's upload tax notice using a private browser. Here's how to access incognito:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P
  • Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If it works, this means you need to clear your regular browser's cache and cookies. But if you get the same result even when using incognito, let's switch to different supported browsers instead.

On the other hand, you may also consider uploading a tax notice via email and adding it as an attachment. In doing so, the format should either be .pdf, .jpeg, .doc or .docx, .xls or .xlsx, .tiff and you'll be emailing it to taxnoticeresolution@intuit.com.

Additionally, here's an article you can use for reference when you're ready to pay and file your state and federal taxes: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Let me know in the comments below if you need further assistance in uploading the tax notices in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
