Welcome to the Community, @causcomgmt.

I’m here to help you update the company address on your employees’ paycheck stubs.

The address showing on the paycheck is pulled from the Work Location that's associated with the employee. Update the Work Location by following the steps below:
1.    Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
2.    Choose Work Locations under Business Information.
3.    Click on the address of the Work Location.
4.    Update the address and click Save.

If you’re adding an address from a different state and wants to change it as the primary location, you need to contact Payroll Support to switch it for you.

They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and help update the address, which we are unable to do in this public forum. For additional information, follow the steps below: How Do I Change My Primary State?.

To get our updated phone number, follow the steps below:
1.    Go to this link https://payroll.intuit.com/support/contact/.
2.    Select your Payroll Subscription.
3.    Choose Payroll.
4.    Click View Contact Info.

That should do it. Give them a call and let me know how it goes after contacting them. I'll be on a look out for your response. Have a great day!

I wish this would have worked but the old address is still showing as the primary even though no employees are assigned to it. Because it is the primary I can't delete it.

We understand that deleting the primary location under the Work Location is a convenient option for you, Sarah. We will ensure that your new company location is correctly assigned for your employee records.

Please know that the primary address in the payroll serves as the main business location for tax and payroll reporting in QuickBooks Online Payroll. This address cannot be deleted or made inactive because it is essential for calculating taxes, filing tax forms, and issuing payroll notices.

When assigning a new company address for your employee, we can add them to the Employee Profile as a workaround.

Here's how:

1. From the Employee List, choose your employee.

2. Click the Edit under the Employment details.

3. Navigate to the Work Location section to enter a new location or select an existing one.

4. Once done, press the Save button.

Once you add them, this will show within the Company work locations. See this sample illustration below:

Furthermore, for assistance in setting your current address as the primary one, you can reach out to our QuickBooks Online Payroll phone support team. They are available to provide step-by-step guidance and ensure your information is updated accurately in the system.

On the other hand, if you handle payments and submissions directly to federal and state agencies, please visit this page to update your business information: Update your legal business name and address.

Furthermore, you can review these articles whenever you want to modify your pay schedules or electronically pay and file your payroll taxes and forms.

Your old address may still be set as the primary work location:

  • Go to the Gear icon at the top right corner of your screen.
  • Select Payroll Settings.
  • Click Work Locations.
  • Click on the address marked Primary Location change it to the new company address.
  • Click Save.

I have all employees set to the correct work location; the primary work address is set to the new address, but my old address is still printing on paychecks/paystubs.

I want to ensure you can print paychecks/paystubs with the correct address, @primedirectional.

Since you've set up the location to the recent one and still get the same error message. Let me make it up to you by making sure this gets investigated further.

That being said, I recommend contacting our support team directly. They have more tools to review your payroll settings and can work with our engineers to fix this issue with sending invoices.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select the Help (?) menu.
  3. Choose the Assistant tab.
  4. Click the Talk to a human option.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. Click either Chat with us or Have us call you button.

Additionally, let me share these articles you can utilize to help manage your paychecks/paystubs in QBO:

Keep me posted if you have other questions about printing paychecks/paystubs showing the accurate address. I'm always here to help. Stay safe always.
