I do not have any payroll history for 2023 however I am not able to get past this step to set up my payroll. I keep getting an error. This has happened the past 3 days.

Allow me to help you with your concern about why you're not able to get past the step to set up payroll and keep getting an error which is "Something went wrong. Give us a minute and try again" in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

There is still an ongoing investigation regarding the attempt to submit a customer and encounter an error after entering historical Payroll Data (INV-92850). The best course of action we can take in the meantime is to reach out again to our Customer Support Team and ask them to add you to the list of affected users. You will receive email updates and get notified once it's resolved.

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Select Help (?).
3. Select either tab to get started:

• Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
• Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.
  • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
