I do not want to have a payroll this pay period, how do I do that?

How can I have a zero payroll for an employee?

Welcome to the Community. 

 

You can easily not have a payroll this pay period by doing the following steps under your payroll settings: 

 

  1.  Run payroll for the current tax period.
  2. Use the toggle to remove the employees from the pay run.
  3. If you have QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll checkmark the Create pay run with empty pays.
  4. Save and view draft, then Confirm and submit.
