Question

I failed to enter a mandated withholding in payroll. We do paper checks only. Can I void this employees paycheck and reprocess without impacting his YTD details?

You can delete a paycheck instead of voiding it to permanently remove the record. Know that I'm committed to providing you with the support and guidance needed to achieve your goals effortlessly.

You can delete and reprocess the paycheck without affecting your year-to-date (YTD) details when using a paper check. After deletion, ensure you input the withholding information in payroll to successfully process the paycheck.

To delete, here's how:

  1. In Payroll, click Employees
  2. Choose Paycheck list
  3. Decide what paychecks you want to delete. Tick the dropdown arrow and select Delete
  4. To confirm, tap Yes.
