Keeping accurate records is important, especially for estimating and paying taxes. I am here to help you ensure your payment shows up in your account, carpediemitadvis.

There are two ways to pay: either by mail or online. If you paid by mail or used an account that not connected to online banking, you'll need to manually record it in QuickBooks to ensure it is correctly documented.

Here’s how to do that:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then Bank transactions.
  2. Select Add transaction.
  3. Provide the necessary details.
  4. Optionally, you can add Notes about this transaction.
  5. When you're done, select Save.

On the other hand, if you paid online, please note that the funds will be deducted from your bank account on the date you selected for settlement.

Additionally, consider reviewing this resource for insights on how your income and expenses correspond to a line on your Schedule C: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Solopreneur and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with handling taxes in QuickBooks Solopreneur. It'll be my pleasure to provide more details. Stay safe.
