Question

I got paid through quickbooks and it’s been five days and I still haven’t had my money deposited. Is this normal. If so I’m not using quickbooks for payment again

Hi there. I want to share some information about your customer's payments not being credited in QBO.

When your payments are taking longer than usual, it does not necessarily indicate any issues. We regularly review them to make sure everything is in order.

For new QuickBooks Payments users, the initial few payments may require additional processing time as we establish the necessary setup. Typically, funds are deposited into your designated bank account within 2-3 business days after the transaction. Approximately, the wait time for credit card payments to be transferred to your bank is 5-7 banking days, while ACH deposits may take 7-10 business days.

However, the exact timing can vary based on factors such as the time of day you input transactions, the financial institution you select for depositing transactions, and the duration it takes for your bank to verify and process electronic deposits.

In the meantime, I recommend checking the status of the payment. This helps you determine the reason for the unavailability of the funds. Here's how:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Open the Get paid & pay menu.
  3. Click on Deposits.
  4. Select the bank deposit you want to review.

Finally, contact our Merchant Services team for further investigation and assistance regarding this.
