I have a employee that needs to pay back a pay check. I paid him to much. How do I handle this

If an employee was overpaid, you may be able to delete or void their paycheck, then recreate it. This will depend on your processing times.

 

Here's how to void/delete paychecks:
 

  1. In the left navigation bar, go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Access your Paycheck list.
  3. Choose which paycheck(s) you'd like to delete or void.
  4. Select Delete or Void, then Yes.

 

Afterwards, you can recreate voided/deleted paychecks.

 

In the event you're unable to void/delete it, you'll see a message explaining why. You can get in touch with our Customer Care team for assistance with correcting your employee wages.

  1. Use the Help (?) icon.


     
  2. Click Contact Us.


     
  3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.


     
  4. Select Start messaging or Get a call.
