I have an employee that is quitting and would like the PTO balance he has paid out. How would I do that?

I'm here to assist you in correctly processing your employees' Paid Time Off (PTO), zoohard. Below are the details to guide you through the process.

 

We can go to the Payroll section to process their last paycheck, which includes their PTO balance. Here's how you can achieve this.

 

  1. Head to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Click Run Payroll and select the appropriate you want to pay, then Continue.
  3. Choose the employee you want to pay.
  4. After selecting, click the Paid time off and enter their balance. You can check their balance in the Paid Time Off section.
  5. Go to Preview payroll, then ensure the bank account for tracking your payroll is correct.
  6. Choose between Preview payroll details or Submit payroll.
  7. Select Close.
