I have changed my pay week to start on Wednesday but payroll is still using the old schedule. How can I make payroll match when I want my pay week to be?

I understand the frustration of having your pay week not align with your desired schedule.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), changing the start day of the week affects overtime calculation. We can update the pay schedule to set Wednesday as the pay period starts.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
2. Choose your employee.
3. From Employment details, select Edit.
4. Click the Pay Schedule drop-down arrow, then select the pay schedule for the employee moving forward. Or, create a new pay schedule by tapping the + Add pay schedule.
5. Once done, hit Save.

Also, select or enter the correct pay period ending to edit the pay period.
