I have Desktop Enterprise and our payday is this Friday 12/24/21. Do I need to do direct deposit payroll a day early?

Yes, you'll need to process your payroll earlier that the pay date. I'm here ton help you with it.

You'll want to check your direct deposit lead time to know when to process your payroll. In QuickBooks Desktop, the Assisted payroll service has a 1-day lead time while the Enhanced has 2-day lead time. This means that if you have Assisted, you'll need to process and submit your payroll 1 business day prior to payday, and 2 business days prior to payday for Enhanced.
