I have set a vacation rule and would like the Vacation and Sick Leave report to show hire date. Can this be done?

Hey there, @jdolan1

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community for support.

At this time, there isn't a way to include the hired date to the Vacation and Sick Pay report. However, I think this would be a great time to send this suggestion to our Product Development Team. This way, our developers can review the feedback request and consider it for a future update. You can send this request by opening the report and clicking on the Feedback button at the top.

Additionally, I wanted to mention a report that you can use to see the hired date. This would be the Employee Contact List report. You can customize it to include the hired date. I've included some steps to run the report below.

  1. Click on the Reports menu.
  2. In the search field, key in Employee Contact List
  3. Tap on the Gear Icon in the top right corner of the report.
  4. Select the Hired date check box.

That should do it. If you'd like to see a list of all of our payroll reports and what they include, check out Run Payroll Reports in QuickBooks Online

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always around to lend a hand. Take care!
