I hired an employee on 01APR2024. I never ran payroll I ran it now but the payroll was for May and did not include the month of April. How do I run April's payroll?

You can still create an unscheduled payroll to send those paychecks that are already issued to your employees for April. It allows you to pay their bonuses, commissions, a final paycheck, or report fringe benefits outside your regular payroll schedule.

1. Go to the Payroll menu and choose Employees.
2. From there, click the ▼ dropdown icon and select one of the following options: Bonus only, Commission only, or Fringe benefits only.
3. Then, you may be asked additional questions based on your selection. You can tick Continue once done.
4. Select the pay period and pay date, then choose the employee you want to pay.
5. Click the column or select Actions ⋮, then Edit paycheck to enter your pay details. You can enter hours, compensation, memos, or any other paycheck info as necessary.
6. Tick Preview Payroll and select or review the bank account for tracking purposes.
7. Select Preview payroll details, Save for later, or Submit payroll.
8. Hit Close.
