I just looked at my auto tracking and it has only been tracking 10% of my travels,how do I fix this and get all my trips

Allow me to assist you today so you track all your travels. 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can only track mileage if you're signed in as a user with admin privileges for the company file. 

Since there were missing trips, we can perform some steps to fix this. 

First, we need to check your device's location settings. Ensure that QuickBooks can run in the background on mobile devices. Keep in mind that the app only tracks trips when it is open and active on your screen if you don't allow it to operate in the background.

On Ois (iPhone or iPad)

1. Go to your iPhone or iPad's Settings.
2. Scroll down and select the QuickBooks app.
3. Select Location then choose Always.
4. Turn on the Motion & Fitness, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data options.
5. Close your settings.
6. If you see a message about background location use, select Always Allow. Don't select the While Using the App, or Only While Using options. These prevent the app from tracking your mileage consistently.

On Android (phone or tablet)

Since Android devices have slightly different operating systems, the steps vary by device. Use Google's steps to make sure QuickBooks can run in the background. 

Now that travels are being tracked in the background, your device and app are ready. Tracking mileage shouldn't stop if you go to another app.

Also, if you're using Android, make sure to disconnect your hotspot while driving. If your device is connected to a Wi-fi hotspot while you're driving, it can interfere with the trip recording accurately. Wi-Fi can be turned on but make sure it's not connected to a hotspot while driving.
