I looks like I am set up for direct deposit on my payroll. How do I change this I need to do paper checks

Hi, Joyce. Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. 

 

If you set up a direct deposit instead of a paycheck on your payroll, you can change the payment method on your employees' info. You can follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select your employee.
  3. Scroll down to the Payment method and click Edit.
  4. Choose from the payment method drop-down menu and choose Paper Check.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Repeat the process for your other employees.
  7. Go to the employee's page and select Run payroll.

 

If you've already created a direct deposit paycheck but isn't processed yet, you can delete the direct deposit check and recreate it. However, if a direct deposit is processed, you need to void the paycheck and create a paper one
