Question

I'm in the Payroll section attempting to export my taxes to my Online Quickbooks account. The "select box" feature isn't working. I've tried it on 2 computers.

It appears Intuit made some updates to the Payroll side recently. Seems every time they do, there is a little "glitch" like this.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Have you tried opening your account using an incognito or private browser? If not, we can open your QuickBooks using an incognito/private browser to determine if it's a browser issue. 

 

The browser's cache saves files on your computer, enabling the website to download faster on your next visit. However, it can also become outdated, leading to website access problems. 

 

We can open your QuickBooks account on an incognito window. Doing so will prevent the browser history from being saved.  

 

Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to start working with a clean slate. Once you have removed the cache, you may need to log back into any websites or services you previously logged into and check if you are able to export the taxes

 

If you continue to experience the same issue, consider using a different supported browser. This may help resolve the problem and provide a better browsing experience.

Here's how to connect with them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human," then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Choose Get help from a human.
  5. Pick between Start a chat or Get a callback.
