I’m trying to accept payments On the set up process my phone number and EIN IS MARKED AS INCORRECT and it doesn’t let me move forward, any ideas what’s happening ?

First, we need to ensure that your phone number and EIN match the format in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company details to resolve the specific error you're encountering. Here's how to check it:

 

  1. Go to Settings. Select Account and settings.
  2. Select Company, then Contact info.
  3. Once you've ensured everything is correct, select Done.

 

If the information is accurate but you still encounter this error, let's proceed to perform browser troubleshooting. Open your account using a private browser and repeat the setup process there. This will help us determine if the issue is related to your browser.
