Question

I made a large company contribution at year end, but forgot to edit that amount that was set up from the beginning. The paycheck was processed already.

It's good to hear from you today, maggiebn.

To ensure you can edit the company contribution, you'll need to void and recreate the paycheck with the correct payroll details.

Here's how to void a paycheck:

  1. Click Payroll in the left panel and choose Employees.
  2. Select Paycheck list.
  3. From the lists, select the check(s) you'd like to delete.
  4. Void the paycheck:
  5. Tap the I understand that this action cannot be undone checkbox.
  6. Hit the Void Paycheck to confirm the action.

However, if the option to void is unavailable, I'd suggest getting in touch with our QuickBooks Online Payroll Support to help you with correcting the amount.

Please be reminded that our Support Team is available from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM on weekdays, and 6:00 AM till 3:00 PM PT on Saturdays. Here's how to contact us:

3. Enter a brief description of your situation in the What can we help you with? area, then click Let's talk.

4. You'll be presented with a few options for connecting with Intuit. Select Get a call.
