I need 2 salary payroll items. How do I create a 2nd salary item?

Thank you for joining us here, tsalzer-centralt. I see that you want to create multiple salary items in QuickBooks Online Payroll to differentiate wages between staff and physicians.

For now, there's no option to create another salary item for a different group of employees in QuickBooks Online Payroll. 

I can see that being able to create multiple salary items lets you separate the wages between the staff and physicians. I recommend sending a feature about this to our product engineers. 

Customer feedback is very important in shaping the future development of QuickBooks Online Payroll and ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of users like yourself.

Here's how to send a request or feedback in QBO: 

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback. 
2. Type in your feedback or suggestions about being able to add multiple salary items. 
3. Click Next to submit feedback.

In the meantime, you'll want to consider using classes to separate the payroll data between the two types of employees. Here's an article as your guide: Turn On Class Tracking In QuickBooks Online.
