Question

I need to add weekly timesheets for all of 2023. Currently I can only go back to September of 2023. How do I enter timesheets for January to August of 2023?

I appreciate you for reaching out to us regarding the addition of weekly timesheets for the year 2023, @nativebloominc. I can see your diligence in maintaining accurate records.

Please know that there are certain limitations when it comes to entering timesheets for the entire year of 2023. Specifically, QuickBooks Online currently allows the entry of weekly timesheets from September 2023 onwards. This means that entering timesheets from January to August isn't possible.

However, if you have the Time tab in your left navigation panel, you can add a weekly Time Entry and customize the date starting from January 2023 instead of going to the +New button and selecting Weekly timesheet. I'll show you how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Time menu and click Add time entry.

  3. From there, select the employee.
  4. Choose Custom from the drop-down. and select the date.

  5. Once done adding the details, click Save.

Okay. I thought that might be the case. I won't be able to use the QBO timesheet and will look elsewhere.
