The amount due in quickbooks does not match the amount actually paid.

Hi there. I'll share some information to help you adjust payroll liabilities in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, there are several factors that cause the Payroll Liability amount to be incorrect. There may be overpayments or underpayments for payroll taxes resulting in inconsistent amounts. To help you make adjustments, I highly recommend contacting our Payroll support team. They use specific tools that can pull up your account in a secure place and help you make the necessary adjustments. Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, select the Help button.
  2. Go to the Search tab.
  3. Next, select the Contact Us button.
  4. Then, enter a brief description of your concern (ex. Make a payroll adjustment) and click Continue.
  5. From there, select either Start a chat or Get a callback.

You can also run payroll reports to help you keep track of your employee information, business finances, and payroll details. For detailed steps, check out this article: Run and manage payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

I'll be here ready to lend a hand if you have other concerns managing your payroll liabilities. Have a good one and stay safe.
