I need to edit the date on a payroll paystub.

If the paycheck is a direct deposit that has already been processed or is a paper check, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. They have the necessary tools to assist you with changing your pay period dates. Please note that this won't change the dates on the paper check unless you reprint the check.

However, if the direct deposit paycheck has been created but not yet processed, you can delete the paycheck and then recreate it with the correct pay period. Here's how:

1. Go to the Payroll menu, then select Employees.
2. Click Run Payroll.
3. Choose your desired payroll schedule, then Continue.
4. Select the correct Pay period and Pay date.
5. Choose the employees you'd like to pay.
6. Select the column, or select Actions ⋮, then Edit paycheck to enter your pay details.
7. Tick Preview payroll.
8. Review the QuickBooks Bank account to track your payroll.
9. Select Preview payroll details or Submit payroll and click Close once done.
