I'm here to guide you on how you can file your taxes in QuickBooks Online through TurboTax, K-costa.

I'll show you how you can file taxes using a payroll subscription in QuickBooks Online when you're enrolled to e-pay and e-file. For the detailed step, you can refer to this article: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms electronically in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

It is not possible to file directly from QuickBooks Online to TurboTax using TurboTax. Instead, you must first import from QBO to QBDT, and then transfer it to TurboTax. To do this, you'll need to download a QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) trial version. Then transfer or move your data from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

Right after, you can now import it to TurboTax Business. To do that, Here's How:

  1. Log in to your TurboTax and go to the File menu.
  2. Select Import and click From Accounting Software.
  3. Choose QuickBooks and click Continue.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Moreover, I'll add this article for a more detailed guide: How Do I Import QuickBooks Data Into Turbo Tax Business?

Here's a helpful resource that can assist you in customizing various reports in QBO to obtain the data you need: Customize Reports In QuickBooks Online.

If you require any further assistance with migrating your files, please do not hesitate to add your questions below. I'm here to help, Have a great day!

Do you need to export data from QBO to TurboTax Desktop or else?
