Hello Sharon White,

Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community! Here's how to get a copy of those forms if you have QuickBooks Desktop Assisted Payroll:

  1. Go to the Employees menu and select Payroll Center.
  2. Select the File Forms tab, and then View/Print forms & W-2s.
  3. In the Payroll Tax Center window, enter your Payroll PIN. Then select OK.
  4. Select Filed Forms.
  5. Select the forms you want to view, print, or save.

If you use Quickbooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll, follow this article below to get the information you are needing.

Please let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. My team and I are here to help. Take care.

@Sharon White  In addition to the response from @SashaMC , you may be able to print your payroll tax reports from a folder on your computer if the correct option was checkmarked in the past.

When you generate a payroll tax report in QuickBooks, there is a box in the bottom left you can checkmark. This will cause a copy of the report to be saved to a Tax Form History folder on your computer each time you print the report.

It is within the same location on your computer as your company file. There are subfolders within the Tax Form History folder for 941 reports, 940 reports, state withholding reports, and so on.
