Resending a 1099 form with the correct amount is essential, qse-llc. I can provide some information to help you approach the IRS directly.

This 2024, you can submit amended forms through QuickBooks Online if you e-file your 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC with us. However, we still need to wait for the instructions. Here's an article to learn more: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

Please know that we're currently unable to support corrections to already delivered (by paper or e-file) 1099s. What you can do is submit the corrected 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC outside QBO. With this, get in touch with the IRS for a manual amendment.

See this link from the IRS for additional information: General Instructions for Certain Information Returns, Part H. It helps you address any error you may have after filing.

We also have various reports to view relevant information about your business' finances. To learn the available ones, check out this guide: Run payroll reports.

Leave a comment below if you have more concerns about correcting your 1099s. I'm always available to listen to you. Have a great day!
