Question

I noticed that since December 31st, my Etsy income is not showing up on Quick Books Self-Employed. The fees all are. I have no idea what's going on. Any ideas?

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) lets you integrate with Etsy to keep your business records accurate, LottieElizabeth.

If you connect your Etsy account to QuickBooks Self-Employed through the banking page, QBSE depends on what data they'll share. Let's try clicking on Refresh All multiple times on your Banking page to refresh the connection between Etsy and the program. Then, try connecting Etsy again. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Bank accounts.
  2. In the search box, enter Etsy. Then press Continue. If you've already connected a bank account before, tap Connect another account.
  3. Provide your log-in credentials for Etsy, then select Connect securely when you’re ready.

Then, you can now categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. If the same thing happens, it would be best to reach out to Etsy to help you integrate the income transactions to QBSE. You can also manually add the income transactions from Etsy by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Transaction menu and select Add Transaction.
  2. Enter the amount and a description.
  3. Tap the Select a category menu. Select the best category to organize your transaction.
  4. If you have a receipt, you can drag and drop it onto the form.
  5. When you’re done, press Save.

Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank transactions.
