I originally set up the employee direct deposit account for Members COOP Credit union. Now when I go into that employee's DD account it says "Bank of America" for his DD account. Somehow his paycheck ends up in the correct account at Members COOP Credit union. My employee does not bank at "Bank of America" nor does our company. Very strange. I have never seen that before.

Hello kelly-bentley,

Thank you for reaching out to our QuickBooks Community! I will agree with you that this is very strange. Could you go ahead and update the employee profile by reentering the original information and saving it again? There may be a broken link within the employee's profile. Also, is this the only employee being affected? If it changes back to Bank of America as the bank, please notify me so my team and I can do further investigation. Here is how to update that information:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select your employee.
  3. From Payment method, select  Edit.
  4. Enter the new bank account info.
  5. When finished, select Save.

I will be looking out to your reply. See you soon!
