It's nice to see you here in the Community, @kstorman1.

Let me help you get past this issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When a browser stored a lot of caches, it could cause problems like pulling up the data to your account or latency issues. As an initial step, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

If the issue persists, we can perform some basic troubleshooting to fix it. You can use these shortcut keys to log into your account using a private browser.

• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N

• Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P

• Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once signed in, go back and try to select payroll expense again. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program. We advise our users to delete them now and then to prevent and fix issues like this.

Additionally, I'd recommend categorizing your transactions to keep your accounts updated and accurate. Then, I encourage you to reconcile them every month to effectively monitor your income and expenses. For the step-by-step guide, you can check out this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Please know that I'm always around to help if you have other concerns about QuickBooks. Keep safe, and I wish you continued success, @kstorman1.
